Lakewood Surgery Center was established by a committed group of area physicians seeking a better way to serve their patients. When the facility opened its doors, its mission was to provide high-quality, specialized surgical care in a patient-focused setting.
That goal continues today under the ownership of Essentia Health. Essentia Health is an integrated health care system based in Duluth, Minnesota. Even though Lakewood Surgery Center is under new ownership, patients can still expect the same great care they're used to from the teams they know and trust.
